University of Detroit Mercy Fall of 2018

My name is McKenna Tanguay and I am a dedicated, hard working softball player. I am an athlete who knows and understands the game of softball. My most important accomplishments were making the Dream Team as a junior in high school and also making the All Region Team my sophomore and junior year. Going into my senior year I am looking forward to continuing my leadership with my teammates and working hard to get where I want to be, which is playing college softball. I started playing baseball at the age of 4 and then moved to softball by the age of 10. My love for the game has never stopped. Knowing that I am capable of playing softball in college makes me more passionate for this sport. A goal I have is to continue playing softball at a high competition level. Also I would like to make an impact on the team and also to younger girls who look up to me. In college I would like to study Criminal Justice or Education.
